Hello to all,
Time is approaching for our Humorous Speaking and Table Topics Contest. Please find below a few items I would like to confirm with all of you:
- Please arrive at the meeting 30 minutes early. As a review for those veteran contestants and for the new members who have not participated in a contest prior to this one, this is to allow time for those speaking to fill out the Certificate of Eligibility, the Information sheet and to draw numbers for speaking order. For those who are filling roles, this is to review rules and get set up and organized.
- In each speaking contest, there will be 3 winners announced. First and second place trophys will be awarded.
- Humorous speakers – there is a disqualification for not speaking 4 1/2 minutes or speaking more than 7 1/2 minutes.
- Table topics speakers – there is a disqualification for speaking under one minute and over 2 1/2 minutes.
