* Max K. is Contest Master for Area 9 Speech/Evaluation Contest; contest being held this Saturday (3/27) at Unigroup, in Fenton.
* Howard B. reminded attendees that it is each member’s responsibility to see that her/his spot is filled if they’re unable to fulfill their duties. Lately, people have been sending requests for replacements through TurboBase without following up. Remember – if you can’t fulfill your duties for any meeting, it is your responsibility to get a replacement!
* Adam K. reported that Karen Busch is not renewing for now (health issue) but hopes to return to SCTM soon. Sends her best wishes.
* Don C. placed first in Area Speech contest; Erin G. placed second in Evaluation contest. Congratulations to both! Next step for contestants is District contest, April 24. Details forthcoming.
