Officers’ Reports –
* Membership – Petrina Monti announced that she is looking for participation in the annual St. Patrick’s Day parade downtown to be held on March 13th.  Petrina also announced an article on our recently held contest appeared in the Suburban Journal.

Committee Reports –
* Marketing – Bill Collier stated; a new goal for the club should be to add 1 new member per month; a survey will go out soon to the membership concerning the monthly speak-a-thons; we will be updating the club website and have more of an online presence. If anyone has experience in web-base technology please contact Bill.

* Education – Carl Hendrickson announced that this committee will be meeting next week (March 10) at 6:30 p.m. in the cafeteria.

New Business –
Tom Terrific made a motion to add a new position of Club Librarian. The purpose of this position is to keep track of all the club’s educational material.  Max Kaiser Jr. second the motion. Members approved the motion on voice vote, with one “nay”. Tom volunteered to be the Librarian.

Correspondence / Announcements –
Max Kaiser Jr. announced an organization outside the club is looking for judges and volunteers. Bellarmine Speech League is holding a speech contest for high schools and is seeking volunteers to serve as judges. The contest is to be on March 20th. Please contact Max if interested.

Alan Kirby reminded everyone that the area contest is to be held on March 20th.
