Mike Dobrich asked if anybody knew where the name-badges are stored.
Karl Beck announced the contest is on the 26th and we need more volunteers to help with contest structure roles.He announced the list of speaking contestants as:

Karl also asked for information on where to find a trophy source, and Max Kaiser announced Bill Collier’s name as a good source.
NEW BUSINESS: Rich Ullrich elaborated on some of the details regarding the Distinguished Club informational email he sent earlier in the day.
After meeting adjournment, Paul Cook (Area Governor) met with club officers to discuss what the area can do for the club to reach club and members’ goals. When asked for what the club can do for the area, Paul answered that he would like to see some of our members striving for district and area leadership positions.
CORRESPONDENCE & ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Max Kaiser found out from Toastmasters International that there was a tribute provided for former member Bill Middendorf (who passed away recently), and that the tribute will be noted in the upcoming Toastmaster magazine.
Howard Brandt announced that he had spoken to the local AARP about Dizzy Dean on the 11th.
Rich Ullrich announced that he was scheduled to give a speech to the Kiwanis Club on the 13th.
The area contest is scheduled for Sept 12th, 9:30am at the Oak Bend Branch library.
