- The International Humorous Speech Contest (organized by Vicki Kolaks and Amy Kelemen) on Jan 28th. We have (4) Members for each contest. Members are encouraged to attend. We will finish with Table Topics if time permits.
- TableTopics Masters: Remember the order for calling participants. Paid members with no meeting roles are first, members with support roles are second. Non-members are third(if they have previously been asked or invited.
- The February schedule was mailed today. Please let me know if you have not received the schedule.
- Distinguished Club Report: With the members that are joining tonight, we’ve reached 9 of our 10 goals for January. We’re doing quite well. All Education goals are achieved. All membership goal are achieved as of tonight. All training goals will be achieved by the end of the month. All Administration goals are achieved.
- Meeting Support Role Mentors: Our club is introducing a new system of training to shadow meeting support roles (recommended by Brendan Flynn), such as Ah Counter, vote counter, etc). If you are an established member, please invite a new member to shadow your support role position. This will encourage attendance by new members and inspire support role experience. When the new member assumes a new support role, the mentor can sit beside them and assist with the task if needed.
