- We received a copy of the report from Jim Zboran (Div A Director) to Toastmasters International. Everything far exceeded expectations, with a couple of minor suggestions; overall, he was very pleased. If anyone wants to see the report, please contact Brent.
- Jim Salih emailed the link to the upcoming training for future club officers. Any incoming officers are required to sign up for this training, especially to achieve the Smedley distinguished award for the club. Training is specific to the role.
- The South County Toastmasters (SCTM) is partnering with The Optimist International (OI). SCTM will feed The OI with speakers from the youth leadership program to participate in the first level of the OI Oratorical Contest. The contest provides scholarships to youth leaders and has different levels. As the youth leaders progressed throughout the competition, they would get more scholarship money.

Unfinished Business: Reminder: There will be no holiday party this year, but members who wish to bring food (cookies, snacks, whatever you want) are welcome to do so at the last meeting of the year on December 17, 2025.

New Business: The election of officers for the next term has been finalized, and officers will be installed at the first meeting on January 7th, 2026. President – Brent Stewart; Vice President Education – Jim Salih; Vice President Membership – Sylvia Awondatu; Vice President Public Relations – Debbie Young; Treasurer – Brian Scarpace; Secretary – Tom Braun; Sergeant at Arms – Driss Madjoub.
Correspondence and Announcements:
- J.D. shared that he’s doing great, which the club is very grateful for. He will be attending the meeting in person in January.
- The coffee mugs from the 50th anniversary are still available, so if anyone wants one, please let one of the officers know; they’re in the cabinet. The rest will be given to future members.
