President: Brent Stewart-TLI this weekend at the SWIC campus in Granite City, IL. Members are welcome to attend the mini conference. Future and current officers are encouraged to participate in training to meet the club’s distinguished Toastmasters requirements.
VPE: Jim Salih-December schedule is sent. No meeting on Dec 24th and Dec 31st. The new officers’ election will be on Dec 3rd, and the installation will be on January 7th.

Committee Reports: The Nominating Committee proposed a slate of officers for the next term: President – Brent Stewart; Vice President Education – Jim Salih; Vice President Membership – Sylvia Awondatu; Vice President Public Relations – Debbie Young; Treasurer – Brian Scarpace; Secretary – Tom Braun; Sergeant at Arms – Driss Madjoub.
New Business: There will be no holiday party this year, but members who wish to bring food (cookies, snacks, whatever you want) are welcome to do so at the last meeting of the year on December 17, 2025.
Correspondence and Announcements:
- The club contest is coming in January 2026 for international and humorous speech contests. For the international speech contest, the requirement is to complete two pathways. For humorous, anyone who is a member in good standing can participate. The term international means where you could end up. Our club contest will be on Jan 27th.
- Jim Bubash is a current member of the prison scholarship fundraisers for Toastmasters at Jefferson City Prison. Any member interested in attending their meeting, please get in touch with Jim Bubash.
- On Nov 18th, 2025, Brent Stewart is officially a grandpa. Congratulations, Brent!
