VPE: Jim Salih – Members were reminded that if they are unable to attend a scheduled meeting, it is more effective to directly contact two or three individuals to find a replacement rather than sending a general email to the entire group. It was also noted that members should avoid using the “reply all” feature and instead respond only to the GE and Toastmaster to reduce unnecessary emails.
VPM: Vicky Kolaks-No Report
VPPR: Debbie Young– Vicky and Debbie visited possible venues and recommended Andre’s at Sunset Hills for the club’s 50th anniversary celebration on Wednesday, November 5. After discussion, the motion to select Andre’s and approve the subsidy and expenses was seconded, voted on, and passed.
Treasurer: Nicholas Murphy– Membership renewals for the next semester are due October 1, covering through March of next year. Members were asked to submit dues by September 26 so they can be processed in time to receive credit with Toastmasters International.
