Officers’ Reports:
- Area 4 contest will be Saturday, Sept 16 from 9 am to noon at the St. Louis County Library across from Grants Farm

New Business:
- Kathy Denton brought quorum discussion back up – we are taking out of account those who are paid but do not attend meetings regularly in order to meet a quorum and have the ability to vote as a club at meetings
Announcements:
- Jim Salih spoke about Youth Leadership program. It will start in late September and run up until a week before Thanksgiving. Teaches anyone from ages 8 up to 18. Graduation will be open to the club attend – the week before thanksgiving.
- Jim Bubash clarified that our club bylaws are different than what is taught at the officer training and just didn’t include people who haven’t attended in 4 consecutive meetings.
- Rob Van Winkle thanked the club for those members who attended the downtown toastmasters meeting last week – they are seeing incremental growth.
- Kath Denton announced committee meeting next week for officers. Starts at 6:30
