EXECUTIVE SECTION
OFFICERS REPORT: James re-iterated the rules of being able to use the facilities at the MetLife Building
COMMITTEE REPORT: None
OLD BUSINESS: Adam brought to attention the motion to extend the evaluation time from 2:30 min to 3:30 min, the motion was second by Sudi. David made a motion to propose an amendment that we try out the motion for the month of August. The amendment was second by Jack Bettag. The motion was passed for the month of August and re-group at the end of the month.
NEW BUSINESS: Applications for membership were received from Scott Allen and Mike Rossi. The dues were received from both the applicants. Motion to accept Scott Allen into SCTM, second by David. Motion to accept Mike Rossi into SCTM, second by Adam. Steve Bettag proposed to be a mentor for Mike Rossi. Jerry Paul will be Scott Allen’s mentor. Both members were unnanimously voted in and inducted as SCTM. Erin proposed that the Club level Humorous speech contest be held at Aug 28th. David seconded that. Sudi Gopinath proposed to be the Contest Master for the contest.
